Hanne Van Briel

Belgium

Hanne Van Briel is a Belgian artist who moves between abstraction and technology with a quiet, intuitive touch. Her work unfolds in layers of organic forms, soft transitions, and subtle textures that invite stillness as much as curiosity. Whether in digital creations or painted canvases, her images search for balance, between silence and movement, control and surrender, the human and the machine.

She began her journey through photography and painting, always drawn to light, atmosphere, and texture. When generative AI emerged, she welcomed it as a creative partner, a way to expand her imagination and explore visual worlds that did not exist before. Since then, she has created work that carries a painterly sensibility while embracing the unexpected.

Her art has been shown internationally, with exhibitions in London, Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam, Miami, New York, and Gent, as well as in Belgium through both gallery spaces and large-scale public displays. Collectors and curators are drawn to the poetic quality of her work, images that feel timeless, yet born from the most contemporary of tools.

Influenced by organic structures, feminine strength, and the rhythm of nature, Hanne’s art is less about representation and more about resonance. Each piece is an invitation to slow down, to sense rather than analyze, and to step into a space where technology becomes quiet enough for intuition to speak.
