Jakub Malec is a digital artist based in Bydgoszcz, Poland, recognized for his masterful use of gradients and bold color palettes. His journey into digital art began with a daily poster challenge—an exercise in creativity inspired by Beeple’s “everydays.” Over time, this dedication to daily creation shaped his distinctive artistic style, which merges vibrant gradients, abstract compositions, and immersive digital techniques. While he no longer produces daily posters, the discipline and skills he cultivated have evolved into more advanced and intricate works across multiple mediums.

Malec’s work has been exhibited globally, including two appearances at NFT NYC and exhibitions at SuperChief Gallery in Montreal and Tokyo. One of his most unique accomplishments was being part of The Big Dream, a groundbreaking project featuring 50 artists whose works were sent to space aboard the International Space Station. His art now spans multiple formats, from 2D and 3D digital compositions to motion pieces, some incorporating original sound design. Looking ahead, he aims to expand his creative toolkit, exploring new technologies such as Unreal Engine 5 and TouchDesigner to push his motion work even further.

Influenced by artists such as Beeple, Baugasm (Vasjen Katro), Rik Oostenbroek, and Mark Inducil, Malec sees each of his works as an expression of emotion. Every gradient he creates tells a different story—some exuding joy and excitement, while others reveal moments of introspection or melancholy. Whether through still compositions or dynamic motion pieces, Malec continues to push the boundaries of digital art, constantly evolving and exploring new creative frontiers.
