Julian Frener is a 3D artist from South Tyrol, Italy, currently based in Vienna, Austria. Since 2017, he has been exploring the limitless possibilities of digital art, sharing daily creations on Instagram while deepening his passion for working within 3D space. His art is characterized by abstract worlds and organic shapes, influenced by both nature and digital aesthetics. To Julian, creating is more than producing images—it is a meditative flow state where imagination and intuition merge.

His artistic journey began with experimentation, exploring a variety of subjects such as characters, cars, nature scenes, and still-life compositions. Over time, his natural affinity for abstraction led him to develop a style that continuously evolves through self-expression and discovery. His passion for 3D art ultimately led him to study animation in Salzburg, where he collaborated on three animated projects over three years. Each animation told a unique story, introducing him to the collaborative aspects of creative production and earning him several student awards—an achievement that continues to fuel his drive.

Influenced by artists like Fabian Oberhammer, Beeple, Cornelius Dämmrich, and Patrick4D, Julian follows a philosophy of continuous creation without overthinking. He believes that in 3D art, there is a pivotal moment when a piece begins to reveal its own story. This moment of discovery is what propels his process, turning each creation into a journey rather than a fixed outcome. Just as in life, Julian embraces the unpredictability of art, allowing his creativity to take him wherever it may lead.
